FLB 2022 Baseball Season Is Here!

Follow this forum during the off-season and feel free to chat & trade.

NEW changes for 2022:
• As voted on last season, new keeper rules: minimum 3 and a maximum of 5 keepers + 1 minor league prospect.
• Trading draft picks DURING the season is now allowed.
• Roster moves will now take effect "Today" making add/drops/trades effective the same day.
• The winner of the playoff consolation bracket receives 1st pick in the draft (post-keeper rounds) plus $50

KEEPER ROSTERS

Managers will need to reduce their rosters down to a minimum of 3 or max of 5 keepers by the "Keeper Declaration" deadline (March TBD). Until then, teams may trade players and draft picks in accordance with the trading rules.

Changes for upcoming season that was voted by you

1. Trade draft picks during the season. This does not include rounds 1 through 5 as these are the keeper rounds. Round 22 is reserved for prospects and can not be traded
Both parties have to be paid up for trade to be processed. To keep everyone honest I will put a 2 or 3 day wait on trades to be processed. This will be a safety net for trade involving picks. This is only to prevent trades going through if manager has not paid dues.

If trade does not involve picks I will process same day. If trade involves picks and both parties have paid I will process same day. If party has not paid trade will not be processed until dues are received. Sorry but this has to be done.


2. You voted to keep 5 players and 1 prospect vs keeping 6 players.
There is still a minimum of 3 keepers up to 5. Players will be slotted in rounds 1 through 5. Prospect will be slotted in round 22. If you do not have a prospect you will get the extra pick in round 22. Prospect has to have no more than 100 at bats or 40 innings pitched at MLB level.

3. Change the weekly deadline to today instead of tomorrow. This means you will be able to add somebody to the roster and use them that day instead of tomorrow.

4. Consolation bracket for teams not in the playoffs. Teams will play against each other and the winner will get 1st pick and $50 others will follow accordingly. So there will be no more lottery for draft picks.
I have been trying to figure out how to do this and Joe came up with a brilliant idea that will allow us to do it. During the playoffs teams still get points even though they do not count. We can keep track of when teams play each other by who wins each category. it will just need to be kept track on the message board.

If team is looking to next year he has to post on board to let everyone he is conceding. This is only fair being such a big league. This is a must and no exceptions. I want it to be fair for all managers to get a chance to make an offer if they choose.
