KEEPER RULES
TRADE REVIEWS
1. Not all trades are equal, balanced and fair. Each manager has paid their $100 to manage their team as they see fit. Uneven deals are not a reason to veto the trade. All managers however, may voice their concern to the Commissioner and challenge a trade.
2. Challenged trades are reviewed by a four manager committee, made up of the division winners from the previous season. In the event of a tie vote, Commissioner will serve as tie-breaker.
3. Trades will only be reversed if the committee and Commissioner feels collusion is involved the deal would dramatically change the landscape of the competition.
More details including examples and common FAQs found here.
INACTIVE MANAGERS
Inactive or absent managers have a negative impact on the league. Managers who don't set their roster give an unfair advantage to the teams they face. We recognize this can sway the outcome of teams fighting for the playoffs - causing frustration and managers feeling slighted. Below are the guidelines for how it is handled. By paying your entry fee, you are accepting the below policy.
1. Managers that "quit/give up" the season early or don't stay active throughout — depending on level of severity — will not be invited back unless the manager has a legitimate reason.
2. The Commissioner will not take over a team's roster, set active players, add/remove players into the free agent pool. If a team roster becomes full of injured and inactive players, the team will remain that way.
ENFORCING LEAGUE RULES
As Commissioner, I work hard to promote a positive and fun league for everyone. I will delete message board posts if they are explicit, filled with profanity or personally attack another team. This is a "family-friendly" league. Repeat offenders will be warned and eventually can lead to having their team locked out from posting. I have booted managers out of the league mid-season and will do so for serious offenses. Ample warning will be given before a manager is removed. Joining this league and paying the entry fee is considered your acceptance of the league rules. ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE .
LOVE OF THE GAME leagues are invitation only and teams that do not adhere to league rules will not be invited back.

KEEPER RULES
-- Keepers allow you to draft/trade for your favorite players and be able to keep them year-after-year. It encourages a feeling of building a dynasty.
-- 3 -5 keepers FLB and NABL / 3-6 keepers in C2C. If manager is keeping less than maximum they will draft in those rounds. Managers must announce their intentions by the keeper deadline date named above.
-- Once keepers are declared manager cannot drop any keepers to get an extra pick in draft. If a significant injury has occurred to keeper before draft the manager will have choice of dropping said keeper. Significant injury is determined to be out for at least half the season.
-- Managers will be able to keep 1 prospect slotted in the last round. If you do not have one you will draft in last round. A prospect is considered a batter who has no more than 100 bats or Pitcher who has pitched no more than 40 innings. You can keep more than one prospect but one will count against the keeper rounds.
-- Managers will be able to trade keepers after they are declared as long as they keep the minimum of 3
Ex. Team has 5 keepers and trades one for a pick in draft. This is acceptable as he will still have 4 keepers. Teams can trade keeper for keeper, keeper for picks, keeper for prospect or any combination of these.
Not acceptable Team has 3 keepers. He cannot trade keeper for picks as he will go under the minimum.
Team has 3 keepers and trades a keeper for prospect unless they declare the prospect as a keeper and slotted into the first 5(6) rounds.
-- Managers that do not renew their team will be replaced by a new owner who will inherit the previous team's roster. Once new owner takes over team, they can make trades and modify team to their liking as long as it fits in the criteria above.
