Hey all Just wanted to see how everyone feels about this. I personally think there should be a cap but also a minimum what a team can spend also. This way big market teams can't buy all the players every time they come up for free agency. Stop small market teams from dumping all their talent. It will really make everyone more competitive. Start with a floor of 60 to 75 million to 125 to 150 million. OK lets vote and hear your opinions and ideas

i believe mlb needs to implement the concept of both a salary cap and floor but i never researched the figures. anything to keep the yankees from buying a championship and marlins selling the farm i guess would be the primary objectives.

This is getting ridiculous. As a Marlin's fan, it's been the most frustrating thing having to deal w/ this CHEAP, CHEAP Front Office while watching the Yankees buy anything and everything they want (except for the recent punch in the stomach Cliff Lee gave them). I believe a cap and floor should be implemented.
I don't fully understand the system the NFL uses, but from what I have heard, it is the best system out there. From my understanding, they implement a cap.
Anyhooz, that's my 2 cents.
