ONE TEAM OPENING!
I'm sad to announce that I got word from Tim that Cardinalsfan won't be returning this year. I guess he's moved towards daily fantasy leagues.
I have some people on a waiting list, but if you know anyone looking for an ACTIVE league like ours - send them my way!

-CommishI have wondered how daily fantasy would affect season long fantasy. Especially with Yahoo jumping in on it and doing away with their pro leagues I can say it is attractive but different formats surely plays different in all the daily sites. This past year I played in Fan Duel with a $100.00 deposit and recouped a whopping $15 and change back. I played in the Yahoo format and did rather well a $50.00 deposit and won over $400 and change over the course of season. Goes to show you need to pay attention to format scoring. Question for you all how many do you play daily format? I will dabble in daily and continue to play as long as I turn a profit. My heart will always be in season long fantasy as I love the aspect of keepers and trading which I find to be as a big part of the experience.

Agreed to trade #15 with Donnie Baseball/The Yardman/Rick
Glad to have Jim back.
As for daily fantasy leagues, I think it's a different animal all together. More for the person who plays fantasy just for the gambling aspect, rather than the draft, free agents, trades, and everything that comes with being in a season long league. I've tried daily fantasy leagues, but it's just not the whole package that year long leagues are. I do think it's here to stay, unless states ban it.

I think changing names is good way to keep things fresh in the league. Since I finished near the bottom, it's time for a new one.

Besides Craig, I bet Will also changes his team name to something Star Wars related. Though his team name usually has to do with the movies up for best picture. How about "MAD MAX SCHERZER" or "THE MARTIAN PRADO" or "THE HATEFUL 22"

Westside Bombers is open to moving Cy Young Winner Jake Arrieta for a bat. He's a 2nd round guy and I'm looking for a similar ranked bat in return. I am open to combining player and pick, if the deal is right. Joe
