I want to give everyone a chance to vote on this. only 10 people voted on this last year and don't want to hear I didn't see it or for got to vote.
We had 8 yes and 2 no. So here it is and I will go with the most votes regardless if everyone votes or not This will be up til Saturday February 24th
We do this in NABL and IMO find it less of a hassle then without picks. The concern of the dump trade I find is less than without picks. We had trades reversed in FLB and C2C last year as they were considered lopsided. This was not the case in NABL.
Picks add another dimension to the trade as you can trade for picks next year to better your team through draft or trade those picks for a better keeper in off season.
Many of you play in NABL and think you enjoy it. It also slows down the big trade from happening as you can deal a player or two to a few teams in contention for picks. Last year we had teams outside of top 8 trade picks for players in hopes and in some cases make the playoffs. So I feel this actually increases the activity in league.
Trades still will be monitored. The trade has to change the landscape of league or collusion to be reversed.

Owners who trade picks will have to be paid up for next season in advance ?

Yes teams need to pay in advance. If a team decides to go all in now and mortgage the future to win. It holds them accountable for the next year so they cant just walk away. If they do it is easier to find replacement to take over team if paid up already.
