What's up gentlemen? I was chatting with Joe "Roid Rage" Culley the other day and figured I would take him up on his invitation to pay a visit and see what was going on in the ol' C2C. Looking through the postings here, I have a few observations... 1. Wildman, you will clearly be a great addition to this league. On entertainment value alone. You also need a spell checker. And a grammar checker. And a cheat sheet. Jesus. Headley for a 6th? Kenley Jensen for a 10th? Pace yourself, son. 2. SlamaLama has clearly lost his DingDong! Holy sh!t, Victor. Not one, but two trades for elite hitters using (gasp) high round picks? And this from the guy who stated in an email to me roughly a month ago...and I quote..."thinking I will keep my picks this year". Go BIG or go home, baby! You are a gunslinger if there ever was one. Note to Commish: See that, Joe...sh!t...Yard Man 1, 'bad word' checker 0! HA!3. TIA has traded away no less than Prince Fielder, Dustin Pedroia and Hanley Ramirez for draft picks. Draft picks! A veritable "Who's Who" of keeperdom. For draft picks! I can't see your roster, J.T., but who the hell do you have left at this point, Brandon Inge?? Either he's holding the best fire sale ever...or you fellas are in serious trouble this season. Bet the over there. 4. MilkMAN. The Man. The Myth. The Legend. He'll own 2/3 of the picks in round 6 by the time the draft rolls around. I know it. You know it. He knows it. Gently lay yours at his feet and...back...away...slowly. Now that I have all this free time on my hands, when I would have otherwise been filling your Inboxes with pre-draft trade offers, if anyone is in need of a logo for their team, do not hesitate to contact me. For the new guys, my name is Rick and my email is smith6570@wowway.com. I'll offer up Roid Rage, SlamaLamaDingDong, and GReaTLaKeSSLuGGeRZ as references. I've done some for teams in the FLB league as well. And you deadbeats need to pay Joe already. Pitchers and catchers report in 10 days! Good luck to everyone this season! The (retired) Yard MAN

Boy, Rick, how you are missed. As for the "retired" tag...... see Andy Petitte, Javier Vasquez, and the most famous "retired" player of them all.... Roger Clemens. I will see you back within the next three years.

Rick, that was great....really made me laugh.
I agree with Victor--retirement doesn't suit you. You bleed Fantasy Baseball and I predict a comeback when you get tired of playing golf, or doing crosswords, or whatever else you retired guys do...
If you get bored, perhaps you would be interested in doing the "team reviews" and predictions before the season starts. You would have a neutral, but insightful perspective on the teams!

Good luck to everyone this season!
The (retired) Yard MAN----------------------------> Yard Man, thanks for you input into the league message boards. Enjoy riding around the diamonds on your Dickie Chopper and cutting the grass before the Games.......as I go out for batting practice in the mornings I will point my bat to Center Field and Smash a Ball your Way. Drop the Hammer on that Chopper and get the Hell out of the Way!
C-You in the Stands, bring your mit as well and maybe you will catch one of my Home Runs.
Wildman_Wilhelm is off to the dugout!

LMAO TO RICK (YARDMAN) !!
Man you must know by know that I wouldn't leave my self open to Brandon Inge. I have a lot up my sleeve and this pool is so competitive that I needed a turn over.
I lost year 1 , won year 2 , made playoffs last year but lost in first round. Needed to change things up .. I will email you my keepers but please keep it to your self ..
Yard man great guy will be missed

Players still up for grabs
Josh Hamilton 6th and 8th
Curtis Granderson 6th and 8th
Others that I am willing to move at bargain prices compared to their ADP.
Shin-Soo Choo move to new team better line up for a 9th rd pick
Danny Espinosa qualifies at 2B and SS should become 20/20 guy this year 11th rd pick
Adam Laroche 30 plus HR Power drove in 100 RBI 11th rd pick
Alcides Escobar 2nd year SS who stole 35 bases as a rookie 12th rd pick
Josh Redthingy30 plus HR for a 14th rd pick
Pedro Alvarez 30 plus HR power for a 14th rd pick
Chris Young was having his best year until he was hurt can be had for 14th rd pick.
Rafael Betencourt 31 saves for a 15th rd pick
Andrew Cashner promising up and comer for a16th rd pick
Cory Luebke another up and comer 17th rd pick
I am firm on first rd pick with Hamilton and Granderson second pick can be modified.
All others I will listen to offers if reasonable. Remember they are being offered a discounted rates compared to their ADP. Choo is going 40th in ADP the 9th Rd pick I am asking is 180th. 140 picks later than ADP. Pretty good bargain.
