Confirming the deal. I have moved Kershaw to Gash for Gash's 3rd round pick after keepers. In return, he also gets my 2nd to last pick since I no longer have a last pick.

Trade 13
Cubsare1 agrees to send Jered Weaver and his 15th round pick (#299) to Onehitwonder for his 9th (#174) and 17th round (#334) picks
Commish note: since all teams must have the same number of picks, Wonders takes over Cubsare1's last pick in the draft (#382)

Still taking ANY offers on:
Rios (ranked 61 by CBS sports, ADP of 66 on mockdraftcentral) Marmol (ranked 72 by CBS sports, ADP of 71 on mockdraftcentral) Billingsley (ADP of 84 on mockdraftcentral) Scherzer (ranked 87 by CBS sports) Rasmus (ADP of 91 on mockdraftcentral) K-Rod Nolasco
I know I must sound like a broken record, but the first 2 guys are amazing guys to have locked up at a cheap price heading into draft day, as they are clearly top-80 value and therefore should be kept by some team somewhere, as I know there are a few out there who do not have 4 top-80 players to keep. Rios has the potential to be a 25/25 kind of guy and Marmol is arguably the #1 closer heading into this season with a ridiculous K-rate.
The others are also keeper worthy as they are solid guys to lock up at a VERY cheap price and all have the potential to return top-50 value. Send out any offers to mat249@cornell.edu
Thanks, Matt The Franchise

Don't overlook Paul Konerko he has an ADP of 68 on mockdraftcentral.
Vlad Guerrero has an ADP of 84. These are quality guys that can be had for cheap. make an offer and you might get them.

Hey guys lets start the Draft day date discussion. I think we should target March 20th as the day we do the draft. Any discussion on what time or if that day works for everyone. Lets keep in mind that it is going to be hard to make everyone happy.
Season starts on March 31.
Lets throw some ideas out there. I'll start
March 20th at 6 pm central time. Lets go from there.

I do not have a problem with either the 13th or the 20th but I think the 13th would be a better date. It would give us a couple weeks to work out any trades after the draft.

the sooner the better. gives us more time to analize our team and note our deficiencies. more time to pull off post draft trades, dip into the free agent pool etc. Sunday is a good day for gash. 6 pm a good time. mike
